In celebration of National Nurses Day Operation First Response has created this virtual walk to bring recognition and awareness to America's First Responders and Healthcare Providers. Funds raised through Operation First Response's COVID-19 Walk will benefit First Responders and Healthcare Workers across the nation. We believe it’s important to continue to serve our community during these challenging times. We the People, as the recipients of their sacrifices, need to be there for the Heroes and the First Responders who are fighting on the front lines keeping us safe during the COVID-19 Crisis. You can do your part by registering for the COVID-19 Walk and participate from the safety of your home or community while practicing social distancing. You pick the time and place anytime between May 6th (National Nurses day) and May 10th. More than ever before, we need your help to support them! There will be a contest for Best Walk Photo and Best “Why I Walked” Story. After you finish your walk email us letting us know why you participated in the COVID-19 Walk. Are you walking in honor of someone? Is there a First Responder or Healthcare Worker you are walking to support? What is your inspiration behind why you walked? Take a photo during your walk! Show us your favorite part of the walk or it can simply be a selfie once you have finished the walk. Your submission will be entered into win an Operation First Response goodie bag! There will be a winner for Best “Why I Walked” Story and Best Walk Photo. All entries must be received by May 11th for our team to vote on the Best “Why I Walked” Story and Best Walk Photo. Winners will be announced on May 12th via email and on the Operation First Response Facebook Page. We will post the winning entries on our Facebook Page. Entries can be emailed to info@operationfirstresponse.org. Be sure to use the hashtag #OFRVirtualWalk on social media! Together, we are stronger! From our team to you, thank you again!
